Our third hotel is in downtown Beijing, within walking distance of the famous shopping street, Wangfujing. We are also near the Forbidden City and the place Tian’en men, although I prefer to take the subway. The subway is excellent here - seriously. Most of it is new, and they continue to work on some lines. The first line installed works from the Forbidden City and links to Wangfujing. I am delighted that we have a subway station in 1 / 2 block - Dengskikou. It is on the last line (# 5) and runs north of Bird’s Nest and Water Cube.
The hotel is beautiful, well-presented. Me lack Subsequently, however, when I want to write and Jesse wants to watch television. Like the hotel in Shanghai, you put the card into a slot and the Chamber of powers in place. We can not know how to increase the temperature, however, and freeze here.

Thus, the working week is over and I decided to leave. I started with a trip to the outlaying islands and decided to go to Lantau Island. Being that I do not know the transportation system or a lick of Mandarin, I signed for a tour that would take me to the island, and some sites. When we arrived, we headed Tai O remote village on the outskirts of the island and on the road, after an interesting ride in traffic that has MANY construction ends on the longest (but not the most beautiful or if The guide told us) beach and I finally got my feet on the sand of the South China Sea. Not something I had never really planned my life fairly cool. Once we arrived at the village, I do not know if the locals were disinterested or unsure of us, but if it is helpful, it was not local experience I expected. Mabye it was a language barrier, maybe they wanted me to buy seafood dried, they lined up … I though I knew what to do with them or thought I could pass customs without offending the whole of the airport with the smell … But I was places. Finally friendly, we had a little water and let us under Tap Mun island. Again, there was a lot of sea life and drying, we had lunch in a room. Some had a dish of rice, but I had the squid ball noodles. Squid ammunition not (at least I do not think so, or at least hope, but … they really squid =)…. Bullets after we took a stroll among the local terrain, which included a large number of dodging cow shit, at the culmination of the island. Once the local economy has changed .. From agriculture to something else, pensioners and the cows wander (among others) freely on the island. The view is very beautiful and looks over the South China Sea. It is very isolated and removed. A quiet place, in the middle of millions of people and exactly what I was looking like out of the city. If you are on a boat and follow the three men in a bathtub you could go to California. But I guess there are sharks along the way so I advised to be careful. Who knew that Hong Kong has so many venomous snakes …. 5 varieties very deadly tells me. It would have been nice if they told us that we were going BEFORE wandering off on the nature trail for ourselves. Anyway, just another learning experience. Tomorrow, a walking tour of Kowloon by my own volition and some shopping, followed by a nice dinner at the center.

Hello travellers:)
I’m Kate. Me and Adam started our adventure in Xian. From Xian we flew to Chongqing, the eighth bigger city of China, with a population of more than three million. Here we raised our boat for a passage in the Yangtze to see the three gorges and the prey of Gezhouba. The water is an important problem in China, and the prey is being constructed to provide electricity, to regulate and to provide the water, and to control to flood of the river. Once the project is finished in 2009, the river of Yangtze control-will be flooded and all the cities underneath the mark of 135 meters throughout the banks of the river will be underneath water. We wished to see the field before it happens this one that it floods. Chongqing was representing of old China–aggressive salesmen of street, wharf areas where the dark covers a multiplicity with sins. Luckyly for us, a guide satisfied us in the airport and she lead us to the wharf area. We had to transport our purses to funicular and later to roll ignited it to the boat, Victory 1. This was absolutely a scene–several men tried to help to transport our luggage in the hope to gain an extremity–and whereas to obtain aid it is necessary, those that did not help even hoped to be inclined. Our cabin contained a giant bed and an area that seated small, plus a bathroom of the pleasant-size. The space of the closet was economic, and there was place no to connect the computer of portable computer.
